"An interactive program which brings the needed structure and guidance for a successful recovery"

While stopping the addictive substance or behavior is a good start to the recovery process, experience has shown it is simply not enough to achieve sustainable recovery over a lifetime. All too often by the time many of us seek treatment, we find ourselves unemployed and in the position of having to structure our days alone, yet lacking the tools to do so.

The IMPORTANCE of structure…

Addiction had become a way of life, for may of us we had no idea how we should be spending our time, how to have fun in a healthy and productive way. As an example, the idea of getting a job overwhelmed many us, from drawing up CV, to where and how we should be sending it, what does a job interview entail, budgeting my first pay cheque , etc.

Structure and guidance are fundamental essentials in any recovery treatment plan, and that is what our day care program is designed to offer anyone who needs the assistance.

the program…

The Day Care Program is designed to run 3 days a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, beginning at 10:00 am and concluding at 13:00 pm.

The program will be run in a group format, where a wide variety of recovery related skills will be taught in a lecture style followed up by a group discussion around the topics as well as homework assignments on each lecture being handed out to be completed for the next day.

Tuesdays and Thursdays will be used for, as well as job hunting and CV drafting.
