WHAT IS AN OUTPATIENT PROGRAM?
While Rehab is a great option for those looking to address their addiction challenges, for some us it is just not an option. Family and work commitments, financial restrictions and other life realities leave us unable to book ourselves or our loved ones into rehab to get the help needed. Our intensive Outpatient Program is designed to provide each client with the resources they need to address their problems offering the same quality treatment found within a rehab environment, but with a less restrictive format/structure than found in inpatient treatment programs, such as not having to live in the recovery center while working our program.
The advantages to this approach lie in that our clients can continue to meet family, work and educational responsibilities; while still learning how best to face their addiction. Each client will undergo an initial assessment to determine their eligibility for our program, we need to establish whether a client will be able to cope with the outpatient program, namely that no medical detoxification is required and secondly whether the client has the motivation and discipline need for this type of treatment. Clients must understand that while our intensive outpatient program is a highly effective and accommodating way to receive treatment for addiction, full responsibility and commitment is necessary from all clients.
Our program runs on every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for 8 weeks and will incorporate a holistic approach towards treating addiction:
